Located on the top floor of a premier building on Capitol Mall, Boutin Jones, a renowned law firm, wanted a peaceful and elegant nursery space to support its female staff. We were thrilled to take on the tenant improvement project, which involved transforming the room with a blend of European design elements and a modern American approach, resulting in a calm, welcoming, and sophisticated environment.
Our team designed a custom wainscot resembling shiplap, integrating baseboards and top caps that matched perfectly with the vertical lines, adding depth and a sense of understated elegance. The nursery’s centerpiece was the Pure Honeysuckle & Tulip wallpaper from Lulu and Georgia, a luxurious touch that brought the design together with its soft green hues, enhancing the space’s tranquil atmosphere. This wallpaper was the most indulgent aspect of the project before furnishing, but it was worth every penny for its beautiful, cohesive look.
From the start, we received incredible support and collaboration from the friendly and dedicated staff at Boutin Jones. Working closely with Tatiana, Grace, Divina, and Lilly from the accounting team, we understood their vision for the space and brought it to life. Their keen eye for detail and clear vision of a room that balanced elegance and comfort allowed us to meticulously refine and execute every element. It was indeed a design by women, for women, and we were honored to help create a private room for this tenant improvement project that provides a calm, safe, and comforting environment for everyone who uses it.
